Welcome YPIE Jersey City!
Since fall 2023, we’ve been honored to support YPIE Jersey City Scholars and Fellows from Lincoln and Dickinson High Schools on their journeys to college and beyond.
Beginning in fall 2025, we’re thrilled to welcome our inaugural class from Ferris High School! We’re excited to continue expanding our reach and deepening our impact with students across Jersey City Public Schools.

YPIE Celebrates a Milestone Summer in Jersey City
This summer, YPIE Jersey City proudly launched transformative experiences for our students, including our SAT Prep Camp and the Saint Peter’s University Overnight College Immersion. This equipped students with the tools, confidence, and community to thrive on their path to college success.
We also celebrated a major milestone: our first graduating class of YPIE Jersey City Fellows! We couldn’t be prouder of these students as they pursue college and future career pathways.

YPIE Jersey City Majors
YPIE Jersey City Scholars can select from different “majors” to develop tangible skills and learn about exciting paths to pursue in college and careers. Last school year, YPIE Jersey City students selected Majors in Design, Science Research, and Journalism.

YPIE Jersey City Spring Showcase
YPIE Jersey City hosted its second Spring Showcase, an exciting event that provided students with a platform to display their skills and projects developed in their majors: Design, Science Research, and Journalism.

The YPIE Jersey City College Zone
The YPIE Jersey City College Zone is located on the 2nd floor of the Saint Peter's Hall at Saint Peter's University.
Enter campus from John F. Kennedy Boulevard between Montgomery Street and Glenwood Avenue. Look for the entrance beneath the "Campus Safety" sign. Show your YPIE ID and proceed to the 2nd floor.
Scholars will attend twice a week (either Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday). Students are welcome to come right after school to work on homework and eat snacks, followed by career-focused majors programming and academic support until 5:30pm.
