School District Partnerships

We greatly appreciate our strong partnership with the Yonkers Public Schools, Jersey City Public Schools, and Metro Nashville Public Schools, which includes:

​

• Student Collaboration: YPIE works closely with partners in the schools - principals, assistant principals, guidance counselors, and teachers - to ensure that we are coordinating services for each student.

​

• School-Based College Centers:  We have a YPIE College Center in all nine Yonkers high schools and two Jersey City high schools to reach students where they spend most of the day. We work closely with school partners to coordinate support services for our students.

​

• Data Sharing Agreement: YPIE has a unique data sharing agreement with each school district that enables YPIE to track students on a broad range of metrics, including class grades, GPAs, Regents scores, College Zone attendance, and college access and persistence checkpoints (applications, SAT, etc). YPIE has developed a robust, custom system that maintains student privacy, which is populated by school district data and YPIE staff input. This data sharing ensures that YPIE can monitor student outcomes and target support.
