Robotics
YPIE Robotics Team Wins "2024 Rookie Inspiration Award at NYC First Robotics"
Students in YPIE’s Robotics Major started with a basic robot kit and worked together on the mechanics, electronics, and coding to ensure their robot was ready to compete. They are already excited to participate in next year’s competition!
Science Research
This is the first year a YPIE Regeneron Science Research Scholar was selected as a Regeneron STS Semifinalist!! YPIE Science Research students also won awards at:

Somers Science Fair: Two Awards
Entrepreneurship
Five YPIE Entrepreneurship students were selected as 2024 NFTE Regional Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge Semifinalists!
Environthon
YPIE Scholars win top prize in Soil Science at 2024 Westchester County Envirothon.
Debate
The YPIE Debate Team won the Bronze Award from the NYC Urban Debate League.
College Scholarships
We are also thrilled for the many YPIE + Yonkers Public Schools Seniors who received generous scholarships and awards.
Two students received The Gates Scholarship
One student received the QuestBridge Scholarship to MIT
Four students won the TheDream.US National Scholarship
Two students were accepted into the Cohen Scholars program at Manhattan College
Three students won the Junior League of Bronxville Erica Sevilla Service Award
Two students won the New York Community Trust Albertina Bloom Scholarship
